Chris, with Keelei on her lap, back in 2012 around the time of her diagnosis.
This is Mum.
Christine Jordan was born in Ruislip, Middlesex in June 1950, and moved to Harefield in 1971 when she married Colin.
Her first son Graham was born in 1974, followed by David in 1976 and Michael in 1986.
Christine loved the outdoor life and was never happier then when holidaying in the caravan around the south west of England or walking in the countryside with her Jack Russell, Bella.
A keen quizzer Christine would regularly take part in the weekly quiz held in the Harefield ex Servicemens club, and had quite a lot of success with her team 'The Jordanaires'
Tragically in 2012 Christine was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. During her illness she wrote a poem for her granddaughter Keelei called 'If you believe in fairies' and seeing the positive reaction that she got from Keelei she was inspired to start writing these short stories.
Christine passed away in 2015 and these stories are now her lasting legacy.
We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
